My Rides
I have had this truck since May of 2000 and have done extensive modifications to it. It has to be one of my favorite vehicles. It is a lot of fun and most people just don't expect it to perform the way it does. When I got the truck it was completely stock as pictured on it's webpage, but I have done a lot to change it's appearance and especially it's performance. This is one of the quickest Lightnings in the state and once the new engine is built it will be one of the quickest Lightnings in the country. Once the built block is installed and tuned it will put down around 650 rwhp and 750 rwtq, enough power to run the 1/4 mile in 10 seconds.
This was one of my first real performance cars that really got my into modifying vehicles. This car was always a favorite of mine when I was younger and I promised that once I got out of the Army I was going to have one. I actually had a '94 300ZX TT like it before this one, but it was totalled by another driver before I could even mod it. I loved the car so much I flew to San Diego,CA to pick this one up. I ahve done extensive modifications to it and it looks and performs beautifully. It is undergoing a few more changes presently and upon completion it will be a monster. I am planning on around 700rwhp with the nitrous and it should be well into the 10 sec 1/4 mile.
This is my newest vehicle. I saw this car several years ago at the auto show when it was just a concept car. It came back to the Dallas Auto show in Feb '02 and I saw it and had to have one. I went straight to the dealership and put down a deposit and pre-ordered one. I was the third person in Dallas to recieve mine in early September '02 and I have been enjoying it ever since. I have done a lot of work both outside the car and to the engine. The car constantly turns heads with both it's appearance and it's performance. I recently added an ATI Supercharger to it, this addition alone added 50% more hp. I dynoed the car with just minor boltons and got 252rwhp, I recently redynoed after the install of my supercharger and got 380 rwhp. It is definitely a fast car.
I bought this car for my wife a few years ago because she also had caught the
Z bug. She loved the cars and really wanted one, but I didn't want her to have
a TT because they are simply way too fast. I bought the car and it was completely
stock besides the Wings West body kit. I have added numerous upgrades as you
will see on the link above. I still love this car but it doesn't get used much
and seems to just be collecting dust. It may be time to move on on this one,
but it still looks and runs top notch.
